Looking for a new best friend? The Allen Animal Shelter is joining shelters across the country for Clear the Shelters, a national pet adoption campaign, Aug. 21-23!
For three days, all adoption fees will be waived, giving you the chance to meet your new furry family member and bring them home for free.
More than 20 dogs and cats are currently looking for loving, permanent homes. Before becoming available for adoption, shelter pets go through socialization testing and are spayed or neutered. Most are also vaccinated.
Several of our larger dogs have been waiting a little longer for their families to find them, and Clear the Shelters could be their chance to finally head home.
Clear the Shelters hours:
- Friday, Aug. 21 | 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 22 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 23 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — extended Sunday hours!
