Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events

Learn how to respond during an active shooter event with free training offered by the Allen Police Department. This course is designed for anyone who lives or works in Allen and provides practical, life-saving strategies to help you protect yourself and others in an emergency.

Built around the nationally recognized Avoid, Deny, Defend approach, C.R.A.S.E. (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) teaches participants how to recognize potential threats, make critical decisions under stress and cooperate with responding law enforcement officers.

The training will be held in Allen. The exact location will be provided to registered participants.

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
