Description

Give your middle or high school student an unforgettable summer adventure with the City of Allen Police Department’s Junior Police Academy (JPA) - a FREE hands‑on program designed to inspire, challenge, and empower young leaders in our community.

This isn’t just another camp. It’s a chance for students to step into the shoes of real officers and discover what it takes to keep a community safe. From learning how a police department operates to exploring the excitement of patrol procedures, traffic enforcement, and Texas law, participants get an inside look at the world of law enforcement through engaging classes and interactive activities.

Students will:

  • Build confidence through real‑world skills
  • Learn teamwork and leadership
  • Explore a potential future career path
  • Connect with positive role models in local law enforcement
