As part of Allen’s 150th celebration, a panel of African Americans raised in Allen during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s will share their experiences and reminisce about life in Allen when it was transitioning from a rural to an urban environment. Topics will include their education, employment, people who influenced their lives, what they did for entertainment, employment, heroes, challenges, their legacy and more. 

Sponsored by the Allen Public Library, the concert is free. Can't make it in person? The concert will be live streamed on ACTV.
